This Cookie Policy explains how Veriscopic uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use our platform.

Essential cookies

Essential cookies are required for the secure operation of the site, including authentication, session management, service integrity, and protection against unauthorised access. These cookies do not track users across sites and do not require consent under the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

Analytics cookies

Analytics cookies are set only with your explicit consent. They are used solely to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve site performance.

Analytics data is not used for advertising, cross-site tracking, behavioural profiling, automated decision-making, or AI training. IP addresses are truncated where technically feasible and analytics data is processed in pseudonymised form for aggregate reporting only.

Where third-party analytics services are used, they operate under contractual data processing terms and are selected for privacy-first design. Analytics data is not combined with external datasets to create individual user profiles.

Data location and transfers

Website infrastructure and analytics processing are hosted in reputable cloud environments with appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, recognised transfer mechanisms are applied.

Retention

Analytics data is retained only for as long as necessary to generate aggregate reporting and maintain service performance. Consent records are retained in accordance with Veriscopic's data retention framework and for no longer than reasonably necessary to support compliance, audit, or evidential requirements.

Consent, records, and control

Analytics cookies are set only after you select Accept and record consent in the cookie banner. You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal prevents analytics cookies from being set on future visits.

When consent is given or withdrawn, Veriscopic creates a time-stamped record of that decision. The record includes the applicable policy version and limited technical context (such as browser or user-agent) necessary to demonstrate the consent state relied upon.

Consent records are cryptographically hashed and preserved as integrity-focused evidence. This mechanism enables the organisation to demonstrate what consent state was in force at a specific point in time. These records support evidential continuity and do not in themselves constitute a legal determination of compliance.

Policy updates

Material updates to this Cookie Policy result in a new version identifier and updated effective date. Where required, renewed consent will be requested before analytics cookies are set under a revised policy.
