These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Veriscopic website, platform, and related services (the "Services"). The Services are operated by A Journey Ltd, Company No. 15963421, registered in England and Wales, trading as Veriscopic ("Veriscopic", "we", "us", "our").
1. Scope and Acceptance
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version number and effective date above reflect the current operative Terms. Continued use of the Services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Nature of the Services
Veriscopic provides tools that support the capture, structuring, preservation, and presentation of governance and decision-related records for audit, procurement, insurance, and regulatory scrutiny.
Veriscopic does not provide legal advice, regulatory determinations, certifications, insurance underwriting opinions, or guarantees of compliance with any regulatory regime.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- The accuracy and completeness of submitted data
- Ensuring lawful use of the Services
- Maintaining confidentiality of login credentials
- Ensuring uploaded records do not infringe third-party rights
4. Data Ownership
Customers retain ownership of all data and records submitted to the platform. Veriscopic acts as a data processor where applicable and processes data solely to provide the Services in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Veriscopic does not use customer data to train AI models and does not sell customer data.
5. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Services, including software, design, branding, documentation, and platform architecture, remain the property of A Journey Ltd unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Availability and Modifications
The Services are provided on a subscription or contractual basis. Features, functionality, and availability may be updated, modified, or discontinued at our discretion.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veriscopic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business interruption, or reputational harm arising from use of the Services.
Our total aggregate liability arising under these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by the customer for the Services during the preceding 12 months.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if these Terms are breached or if required by law. Customers may terminate in accordance with their subscription agreement.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
10. Contractual Precedence
Where a separate written agreement (including enterprise agreements or onboarding terms) exists, that agreement shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency with these Terms.
